Day 72
Jack had his first tub bath last night! The nurse gave him a “Preemie Jacuzzi” by hooking up some tubing to the oxygen and making lots and lots of bubbles for Jack. At first he didn’t seem so sure, but by the end he was smiling and having a good time.
He is up to 4lbs, 15.9oz. Okay, so that’s almost 5 pounds!! I am sure by now he’s passed the 5 pound mark! He’s eating better and better, but still needs a lot of work. He’s working so hard at it!
We’re very happy that soon we will be able to have Jack all to ourselves! It’s getting very exhausting traveling every day to and from the hospital. And lately in the evenings, we’re assembling more of Jack’s gear! We’ll be ready for him to come home soon, that’s for sure.
And as far as the website goes, don’t worry! It’ll be here for quite some time. It will probably embarrass Jack when we’re telling everyone how he went on his first date! We love updating it as much as everyone likes to read it.
