Day 58
Jack is doing awesome with the shunt. He is on a low oxygen setting with hardly any desaturations. That is probably due to the shunt working properly. He’s up to 4lbs 10 oz. His doctor said that the remaining time in the hospital will be devoted to getting him ready to come home! That includes feeding only from a bottle, no oxygen desaturations and completely regulating his temperature. We have a lot of work to do getting the house ready for Jack to come home!
