Day 41
Mommy got to hold Jack for three hours today! He did very well in her arms. He was making little faces and smiling. She even got to feed him while she held him.
He gained 40 grams today, but he is still officially at 3lbs 3oz. We are very proud of him.
Even though he is doing very well on the CPAP, it can still be uncomfortable for him and sometimes he tries to pull the prongs out or they just accidentally come out. The nurse just comes over and puts them back in, or we can even put them back in if we are there.
He is so cute when he sucks on his pacifier while he gets fed. He really goes to town. He even sneezes! Everything he is doing is cute! It’s great to hear his sweet voice, even if he is very angry sometimes. Most of the time he is not.
