A Week Later...

And we're back to good! Jack's feeling 100% better after resting the entire week. He slept A LOT this week which was really good for him. We didn't leave the house at all...we set up camp in the living room and watched a whole lot of cartoons! We had some company towards the end of the week and Jack loved every minute of the visits!!

Jack will most likely return to school on Monday. I talked to his teacher this week and she said they had Jack in their thoughts. I also asked about the need for a nurse in school. I know some children have a nurse for various reasons (g-tubes, seizures, etc.) and I wasn't sure if Jack needed one now due to the chance he could have a seizure and need medication. His teacher really didn't seem to think Jack will need a nurse. I guess I am nervous about letting him in someone else's care...I know they'd react superbly in a crisis situation I just don't like to think of not being there if something does happen.

I managed to catch a cold and boy is it taking its toll. I hope to go to Priority Care tomorrow morning while Jason is with Jack. I believe it's probably a sinus infection. My head is stuffy, my body aches, and my throat is really, really sore. Due to being pregnant, there isn't much I can take for the symptoms but I have been enjoying warm tea with honey and lemon.

Oh, and here are the
JANUARY PHOTOS!!

I'm so glad you're feeling better!! Sorry that you're not Mommy!! Now it's your turn to rest for a week! HAHA! Mommys never get to rest, do they?

Papa said you were one CRAZY MAN the other day when he stopped in to see you. Sounds like you really are all back to normal. That's great! Now you have to take care of Mommy and Bean snd make sure they get plenty of rest.

Did you see the snow tonight? It's snowing pretty hard down here.I'm sure it won't last, just enough to make it sloppy and messy for a day or two. Hopefully, anyway!

    See you later Buddy, Love,
    Grammie

  2. Ohmigod! Jack is so cute. His gross motor is awesome! Standing and pulling himself up to look out windows. He is amazing.

I hope you feel better soon. No fun to be sick and pregnant.

Sorry you're not feeling well. It's hard to be the mommy and under the weather. Our world never stops turning.
