A Difficult Week

Our family has had a great loss this week. Sadly, Nana Wilhelm passed away on Sunday, November 6th, 2005. We will miss her dearly. She loved her children, grandchildren and her great grandchild -- which is Jack. Services were held yesterday -- it was a beautiful dedication to a wonderful lady. We miss you Nana!

Mommy, Daddy and of course, Jack Riley, Thank you so much for the beautiful tribute to Nana. She would be and is very proud of all three of you. She would have loved her house full of people yesterday, especially the little ones, as they were always number one in her heart. We will miss her more than anyone can imagine, but one day we will join her and the rest that have passed before us. It will be a wonderful day. She's probably up in heaven right now saying,"Look at that mess, I need to scrub that kitchen floor!" That was our Nana, the one and only. We are so glad that Jack was able to spend time with her like he did and she with him. It meant the world to her. I know we are very blessed to have been able to spend her last weekend on this earth with her, camping in the woods and just enjoying natures beauty, something she truly enjoyed. It was hard for her, but she was a trooper. She's now with those that she missed the most. Saturday morning she told me that she needed to go and take care of Mike and Bob Sr, but I never caught on to what she meant, since she always had a alot to say and sometimes I hate to admit, I wasn't always totally listening to every word. But now I know and she knew and was ready.

So Jack, never forget that fiesty, energetic, never at a loss for words, Nana Wilhelm of yours, as she will be there watching over you, all the rest of your days.

    Love, Grammie T
