Wow, Jack is really keeping us busy! He stays awake most of the day now with a cat-nap or two here and there. He spends an hour or so in his swing various times during the day too.

We switched Jack from his Preemie Slow Flow nipple to a regular one this week and noticed a dramatic increase in the amount of food he is taking. We are so thankful because we noticed he wasn’t really eating too well the last few weeks – here he was just frustrated and tiring himself out trying to eat from the slower nipple.

We keep him off of his monitor a lot now. Only when he’s not in our direct sight do we put it back on him. We’ll be happy when he no longer needs it!

Jack is such a little ham – very social and flirty with the women! He loves “talking” to you and laughs a goofy little laugh when he’s delighted. He’s getting to be such a big boy! His physical therapist is happy with his progress. He’s right on track developmentally for his adjusted age of (almost) two months old. It’s hard to believe he’s almost 6 months old!!!
