Jack is doing great. He seems to be in a routine now which is good except for we think he has his days and nights mixed up! He is sleeping wonderfully in his bed through the day, but as soon as we get sleepy and are ready to doze off Jack is wide eyed and not interested in sleeping!

Jack is continuing to take all of his bottles like a pro. He goes to his pediatrician for a “weigh-in” just to make sure he’s continuing to gain weight and not spending too much of his energy and calories taking his bottle. So we’re anxious to see how much he weighs tomorrow!

We became close to two families in the NICU. All of our boys had similar issues including shunt surgeries. We just learned that one of Jack’s little friends is back in the hospital due to a shunt malfunction and there were complications with the surgery. He’s still in the hospital now, and our hearts are breaking for his family. Please keep your thoughts and prayers with them.
